Volunteer Opportunities At Warm Blankets

You can make a tremendous difference in affecting the lives of orphans by employing your time, talents and skills as a volunteer. Following are descriptions of volunteer positions currently available:

Administration Support - Can you help us in the office? Time is scarce. We need help putting together mailings, making photocopies, duplicating literature, entering data into a computer, and completing other office tasks.

Ambassador - Are you excited about what Warm Blankets is doing? Be an Ambassador for orphans, representing the ministry of Warm Blankets in your church, to your company, or to your friends and family. Help find support for orphans around the world!

Fund Raising Coordinator - Seeking support to care for hundreds of new orphans in Cambodia, we need to spread the word about the work there. Could you help us develop events that connect people to the needs in Cambodia and opportunities to meet them? Events might include student car washes, a walk-a-thons, and dinners.

Grant Writing Research - Warm Blankets would like to take advantage of the many foundations and organizations that may be interested in funding the expansion of our ministry to orphans. To do this, we must gather information on the grant possibilities available and the requirements of each. We look for assistance from someone who can help us prepare grant proposals by researching the programs of appropriate foundations and companies.

Home Counselor - At Warm Blankets, we want donors to feel more connected to and informed about the ministry they support. Would you help us coordinate communication between the donors and the homes in Cambodia?

Medical - Attention doctors and nurses! The Cambodian orphans need your help. Warm Blankets is looking for qualified professionals to travel to Cambodia and/or help put together a Medical Plan that will be implemented in Cambodia.

Writing - Are you a writer? Warm Blankets could use the help of a wordsmith to put together our newsletters, write program descriptions, develop program literature, and compose email updates.
